The Grant Itself

The Federal Environment Minister Sussan Ley has announced a landmark $14million for Landcare led bushfire recovery projects in Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and South Australia. The funding will support Landcare bushfire recovery projects in seven government-designated bushfire regions impacted by the Black Summer bushfires of 2019/2020.

Hzow much funding is available?

The total program funding is $14million. Eligible local Landcare Groups, environment networks, and community groups can apply for community grant funding up to $50,000, or larger partnership projects up to $300,000.

Is my group eligible?

Your application will be considered if you are a local Landcare group/network, landholder, community organisation, Indigenous group, Traditional Custodian and/or other regional and national organisation.
Unincorporated groups are ineligible. However they can apply with an eligible partner or auspicing body (e.g. Landcare group/network)
